KC set for farewell
Saturday, March 22nd, 2008Sunday’s clash with champions Celtic will be the last in Gretna colours for Physio Kenny Crichton.
KC is leaving the club after two seasons to join Falkirk and will bid farewell after tomorrow’s game at Almondvale, Livingston.
He arrived from neighbours Queen of the South prior to the First Division campaign and has enhanced his growing reputation during his time at Raydale.
“It was a difficult decision but one I had to make,” he said.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Gretna and I’ve developed good friendships with many people at the club so I’m sad to be going at this time.”
“But this is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I made the step up from Queens to Gretna and this is another one which will allow me to further my career.”
“I’d like to thank all the players, including those that are no longer here, the management and the staff for whom it has been a pleasure to work with.”
“I hope Brooks makes a full recovery so he can enjoy his football once again and fingers crossed the club can get through this difficult period.”
We thank Kenny for his terrific service and wish him every success at Falkirk.
